Living in Oklahoma City

The capital city, from historic districts and downtown lofts to newer homes on the edges of town.

Overview

About Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City is the state capital and the center of the metro. Its city limits reach into four counties, so an Oklahoma City address can mean a downtown loft, a 1920s home in a historic district, or a newer house on the far northwest or south side.

That range matters when you shop. Two homes with Oklahoma City addresses can sit in different counties and school districts, with different property tax rates. We check each one by address before you make an offer.

  • Commutes vary widely across a city this size. Tell us where you work and we’ll map the drive before you tour.
